Due to bugs in the recent cPanel version, 11.50, we are opening a maintenance window on September 11th, 2015 starting at 8:00PM PST. This window will last until business hours the following day at 4:00AM PST. No disruption to production websites or servers are expected during this time.
We will be resetting quotas for accounts which currently show 'unlimited' due to an accounting problem in cPanel 11.50. Accounts will be reset from unlimited back to the quotas in the plan they are assigned in WHM. This will not cause issues for any accounts within the assigned limits and the monthly quotas that started to count from September 1, 2015 when the month rolled over.
We encourage you to check any accounts that have custom limits assigned outside of a plan by creating a new plan and assigning it to an account. cPanel/WHM has included a warning about only assigning new quotas via a plan for several versions to ensure it is always set correctly, so you would have been warned multiple times by the system itself. If you don't make any changes and your clients' site are outside of the plan you set for them, your websites will have different quotas than expected. This could result in the affected site(s) not being able to store data such as email or database data. It is very important to stay within the plan limits you assign to your customers. If they exceed a limit, simply upgrade them to a new plan.
